PGP Files

When creating a profile how do you attach a
customized pgp file to it.  So when you go to a different station to work
and reload your profile it pulls the pgp file with it?

not an easy way I don't think

however... (thinking out loud here) if you were using personal menus
you could have them load from a personal folder on the server.  Ideally
if you do this its path should be in autocads search path.  Then you
could conceivably have a pgp file there as well then just make sure that
pgp file is used by moving up that folder in the search path high than
autocads pgp.

Havn't tried this but it might work.

You can't attach a customized PGP file to a profile. What you could do is have your standard PGP file in a given folder and your customized PGP file in another folder. Then your standard profile would need to have the folder with the standard PGP file earlier [higher] on the AutoCAD file search path [or not even list the customized PGP folder] and the customized profile would need to have the PGP folder earlier than the standard PGP folder [or not list the standard PGP folder, but that folder probably has other files you do want to use].

Now does the pgp file have to have the acad name
associated with it for it to work, "by the way I tried it and it seems to
work.  I used the Support File Search Path.  The next question is what
is the difference between the support File Search Path and the Working Support
File Search Path?

one is a copy of the other.

used to be if network went down all the paths get lost.

now they don't (i think)

anyway that is what the Working Support File Search Path is for.

Working... is not editable by the user.

Support File Search Path is editable

should be 'acad.pgp'  don't think you can name it differently... though
I haven't tried.

... the only other caution I can think of is don't put any other files
autocad looks for in there or they will get loaded also.
