Autocad Architecture LT

I think Autodesk should make an LT version of autocad architecture.  Something that can do walls/windows/doors/details just maybe not all the 3D capabilities of the full version.  Of couse it would me at an affordable price simliar to inventor LT.  Something geared more towards residential and light commercial projects.

I doubt you'll see this in the AutoCAD platform but they are doing Project Spark over in Autodesk Labs. It's effectively Revit LT & free technology preview will operate until July 7, 2012

Robbin, i downloaded the trail for project spark wow its cool.  do you know if its going to be for sale?  It says July 7th?  Do you know how much a license will cost?

Don't know the future of Spark. On expiry Labs previews either die, get extended or transform to become "real" products. I hope Spark makes it (in some form) as think there is demand (esp with the recent sketchup changes).

You should also check out another Revit based preview, Vasari for doing more conceptual mass type modelling & analysis
