add an area property to the roof object pls

just to humour me.
Seems a bit silly that such an object can't tell you it's area.
Should have roofline and eave line area at least.
Be good to have eave line minus roof line.
How about roof area on flat & on pitch!

:-) Now I am going to sit, quietly and wish really hard.

Nathan
I've been using the VisionRez roof object for so long now , and it does give
that prop right on the Display of the Properties Flyout panel. sorry. So,
obviously it can be done.

The VR roof is a completely seperate object to the OOTB roof object so there
is no direct corelation even though they look familiar. (or do I misread
your comments and you are sympathising?)
The VR roof has interest from it's owner. The ACA roof does not!
In case I was missing your point I went back in to examine the Prop flyout
panel but couldn't get anything of value. You can get the area of a simple
PLine so the roof object should be no problem. There is just no desire!
