Viewpor causes layout to disapear when plot

Hi

I'm using autocad architecture 2008 with windows XP and some times when i
insert a viewport on my layout it makes the previous plot apear empty, if i
plot it's still empty. I've searched in the disussion group but couldn't
find something related.

Any help about how can i fix this?

Regards

Rodolfo

Check the setting of MAXACTVP. That is the maximum number of viewports that ACA will actively display at once. If you already have at least that many viewports, adding a new one will cause one of the others to stop displaying. (As long as a viewport remains "on", it will still plot, even if it is not displaying due to exceeding the maximum number of viewports specified by MAXACTVP.) Increase the number (up to 64, if memory serves) if you want to be able to have more viewports displayed at once.
