U-shaped stairs; 1/2 landing

ACA 2008

I copied the steel, u-shaped, 1/2 landing stairs from the stair styles
drawing in the styles directory. I've changed the height & number of risers,
width etc.no problem.

What I'm having trouble with is trying to eliminate a riser or two on the
bottom flight and add them to the top flight. When I grab the grip called
Flight Start all it lets me do is rotate the entire stair. I'm sure this is
easy and I'm just missing something...

Thanks,
Scott.

U-shaped stairs are constrained to have equal flights (unless there are an odd number of treads, in which case one flight will have an extra tread). If that does not work for you, you will need to use a Multi-landing shaped stair, with 1/2 landing turn type.
