Text won't show up

I have a particular computer in my office where text isn't visible at times.  Any other object on that same layer shows up just fine but the text can't been seen in model space or paper space.  The text is not annotative and if I open the same file on a different computer in the office the text shows up fine.  Any idea what could be causing this problem?

Hi,
Was the drawing created in AutoCAD Architecture?
Is the text an Mtext object?
Try steps 1-5 in TS18809891 to see if that fixes the problem.

Try setting:

• Proxygraphics = <1>
• Proxyshow = <1>
• Proxynotice = <1>
