setting for turning off lines at doors and windows

Hello,

Can someone help me figure out where the setting is that turns off the two lines running across an inserted door or window.  I've spent the last hour following the Help instructions with no success.  Thank you.

The first place to look would be the Door Threshold display.  Assuming that is not the culprit, the next place to look would be the Wall display settings - is the Above Cut Plane component turned on?  If not, you may want to make check the vertical alignment of the Door - is the threshold above the bottom of the Wall (with the Below Cut Plane component turned on)?
