set ceiling boundary to aec space in xref

is this possible? we want to have our ceilings in separate constructs in order to have two people working at the same tiem

I don't think you can set a ceiling boundary to a "space" in xref using the using the "set boundary" option.

For me this only seems to work when in the actual construct.

But you can certainly add ceilings in an xref of the construct and manually stretch the ceiling to the space boundary. (or any walls for that matter)

I would have the walls and spaces in one construct, start a new construct for the ceiling and drag and drop the wall and spaces construct into the ceiling construct. (this will create an overlay xref that will avoid a circular xref when you create a view drawing)

Once your ready to create a view drawing, make sure you select both these constructs to create the view.
