Serial number not working

Hi, i am trying to activate my free student version of autocad architecture 2013, and the serial number i am provided on the first activation screen is invalid on the next page. I have seen similar posts about this on these discussions with responses containing a link to AutodeskHELP website, claiming this website outlines how to get around this. That website is failing to do that, so does anyone have real advice for how i can activate this program? My 30 day grace period is running out, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
