Select/Delete problem

I'm having an issue with autocad architecture 2010, when I run a command such as move, I normally select an object first, hit "m" and then move the object, all of a sudden it is asking me to reselect the object before I move on, it happens with any command i've tried. When this stated happening, the delete key doesn't work, and when I try to double click on text to edit it, I cannot enter the text editor. Please help
