Schedule Tag only an attrib def access property set data... hooked leader

I've fashioned a Schedule Tag with a leader... currently the attrib definition is Left justified. At the left end of the attribute, the block also has a short horizontal line to act as the 'hook' on a leader.

This works well to click and drag the leader from left to right... but might there be a trick to allow this to also work from right to left and have the hook and leader attach at the right end of the attribute?... or will I need to do a second version of this for use from right to left?

Also, can someone refresh my memory as to why the Schedule Tag block attributes are set up to be 1 unit tall in the block definition?

1 unit tall means that the annotation size and annotation scale settings
can both be used to determine the text/tag height.
