Scalable Block from tool Palette

I know how to do this for Mv-blocks, but how how do I make regular blocks scalable on the tool palette, not annotative blocks.

if you just drag the block over to the tool palette, it will maintain the inserted scale size. but how do you set the block to insert at the right scale ?

right-click over the TP item, select Properties, explore....

A tip: when in doubt, right-click over whatever it is you want to
change, it's amazing what pops-up.

well I must say of all the times I checked the block properties I never thought to check that line under the scale under, long and behold I was able to use the dimscale.

the first thing I tested this on of course was my north arrows.

Dean where you ever able to figure out why you get fatal errors when trying to attach a new arrow to the aec palette setting?

Scaling. I tried keeping the block at the same scale the default arrows are sized at. but its not inserting at the right sizes when pull from the tp. what do I need to do on the home file of the block, to make the scales correct?
