Roof Slab Edge - slab disappears

I've got a roof that I converted to roof slabs.  I applied a roof slab edge style to both front and back slabs.  the front slab works but the back slab, the slab itself disappears and only shows the edge style (2x6 fascia and soffit).

In the design rules of the style:

             Fascia checked on

soffit checked on with 'B' checked as well

             'E' 5" offiset

Defaults (all on): A: 0  B: plumb   C: 0

if I offset the soffit to 8", the slab returns.

any clues?

Thanks.

Hi Howard,

Is this happening in only one file?

Does it happen if you try the same thing in a new, blank file?

Which version of AutoCAD Architecture are you working in?

Could you please post a sample file where this is happening, for testing purposes?

this is not the first time.  ACA 2012.  see the problem roof slab is clouded.  Look at it from the left side and when you change the slab edge style to anything with an '8in Frz Bd', the slab disappears.  if you drop the offset as noted above, the slab returns.  all edge styles works with the other 2 slabs that are there.  all slabs are the same.
