Rendering in 2010 Architecture

We have just recently upgraded from 2008 architecure to 2010 architecture. I was wondering if anyone else was having a problem rendering. When I attempt to render I get a dialog that says "Autocad is running our of system memory"

how big is your file?
Windows 32bit has issues. Autocad doesn't have much to complete the task.
When you have it all set up and you are happy, save and close autocad and
restart.
Then render and you may get thru.
You can also increase the memory in the renderpreferences RPref box down the
bottom (providing you have more to assign).
1024 >>>
You should have 4Mb RAM max in 32bit to be as comfortable as you can be.
Were you not having these issues in 08?

File is under 1 meg, and we were not having these issues in 2008 on much larger files. We are running 32 bit machines. Thanks for the response. I will check out the memory allocation.

Thanks Byron

Have a look with your windows task manager and see what is happening with
your memory.
I have a 2Gb machine at home and it just runs out with rendering.

I was having a little bit of trouble rendering myself. It was mostly impatience waiting & wondering if it was still going on. Going to the task manager showed up that the program was "not responding".
I reinstalled a little program called -Instant Memory Cleaner-, by Vasilos Freeware 2007. It shows me how much memory is being used as the program is rendering in a little box down in the corner & the program seems to work much more efficiently with out any "not responding" nonsense.
Apparently it stops memory leakage or something like that.

ps attached the bare rendered model of what I am working on & have added background in photoshop which I may postup when I get it finished.
Cheers Dermot

The ribbon interface drains more RAM than it should. How much RAM do you have? If you're rendering than a min of 4Gb is recommended.
