Quadro FX3800 poor performance

I just upgraded my video card from a Geforce 9800gt to a Quadro FX 3800 and I don't have the "performance increase" everybody is talking about. I have the latest driver for that card.

System info is

I7 960 cpu

12 gigs ddr3 ram

quadro fx 3800 video card

MSI x58 PRO-E motherboard

1200w power supply

Is there some setting that I have wrong or do I have a faulty video card?

Have you A2010 or 2011 ? You should install performance driver for architectur/autocad . If you have a2011 , you should use opengl performance driver for quadro its 5x times or more faster than in 2010 . There no drivers openGl for A2010 with vista 64 or win7 64 and its problem beacause other drivers are slower than opgl . Also Switch off "vertical synchronization" / force  off / in Nvidia panel / Global 3d setings / . With performance quadro opgl you can use antyaliasing  edges without decreasing performance . J have q5800 and it works beatiful in A2011 . In A2010 increasing performance isnt so spectacular but satbility is much better and it is the most important with quadro . You can notice difference between GT and quadro working with big objects for example then you working with "seets" , changing drawing windows etc.

Where can I get the opengl performance driver? I'm using AutoCad Architecture 2011and on a 2 mb model it is very jerky and slow. I upgraded from a geforce 9800gt and there is no difference whatsoever.
