Property Set Definitions - Pull Down List

Is it possible to create a pull down list of names for a manual Property Set Definition?

I'm placing names as a PSD of hatch objects to represent different department areas in a floor plan.  I will summarize these in a schedule that is exported to Excel.  For this reason I want to standardize certain names and have them selected from a list.

I would much rather uses Spaces for this purpose but I'm stuck using hatch patterns instead.

Thanks

Yes you can.  First you need to make a list definition (under multi-purpose objects in style manager).  Then on the definition tab of the property set definition, in the third column titled "Type" select list, and in the fourth column select the list definition you created.  When you create the list definition there's a check box at the top to let users vary property values if you so choose.
