Project navigator--sheet set ups

Hi,  I am setting up sheets in the PN.  I already have my views with all my necesary xrefs attaches.  Since I have multible Sheets, i was trying to freeze certain layers in the xref in my view.  Now, xrefing the view into my sheet, all the layers i froze in my view do not show frozen in my sheet.  Do I have to freeze each layer in every sheet again?

Did I miss a step?

Check your Project's properties. Under Basic, Drawing Settings, is Match Sheet View Layers to View set to Yes?

Other things to check:

• VISRETAIN should be set to 1
• VPLAYEROVERRIDESMODE need to be set to 1
• Make sure both drawings are part of the project
