Problem with ACA commands

I have a problem where if you select an ACA command such as walls, stairs, etc the commands don't work.

For example if I select the wall command

ACA calls the command but goes straight back to the command prompt. This has happened me a number of times on different machines. My only way to fix it has been to re-install. Then it works fine for a while then the problem re-appears.

Any ideas

Wild guesses: Registry cleaner?, Options being set to not automatically
demand load extensions?

I'm suffering the same issue. I can only finish first aca command. After that, each one ends with a sudden return to the command line and a *Cancelled* message..... I've reinstalled the software with no results at all, and I'm running out of ideas......

It was a registry cleaner that caused my ssue. I reinstalled ACA. all was fine The I ran the registry cleaner to test if it was it. The problem re-occured.

Architron.

Have you tried uninstalling completely. Delete all the ACA folders. When reinstalling turn of your anti virus software as this can some times cause problems on installation.

When ACA is uninstalled. Maybe try running a registry cleaner.

Let me guess: you were using the registry cleaner from Symantec?

It has always conflicted with AutoCAD. CCleaner seems to work fine.

The only time I have seen this is if the PROPERTIES palette was docked and then closed.

The properties palette seems to want/need to be open... and can't get there.
