Pinning "Recent Documents" in main menu

Working in ACA 2012 on a Windows 7 machine.  Noticed that pinning documents in the "Recent Documents" under the main menu is acting goofy.  If I pin a document (so that it presumably stays there no matter what) and then open other drawings, the pinned drawing gets pushed down the list just like any other.  Eventually, it gets pushed off the list just like all the others.

Is there a system variable I'm not aware of that controls this feature?  Or is this just a bug, but since this feature is rarely used no one has noticed it?

Within ACA2012 you should be able to pin the drawing file using the pin icon to the recent documents list from the applications menu.  Once it is pinned it will move down the list (by default and as designed) but it will stay listed.  I have made a quick video illustrating this below.  If your software is not responding as shown, please test a different Windows User login to see if that user then gets the same results.

The pinned recent document is behaving as you described it should.  I had a user that swore that the pinned recent document was being pushed off the list, but after standing over his shoulder and trying it again, it worked as it should.  Thanks for the help.

You are welcome and I am glad it helped.

Bad design IMO. When I pin something, I want it to stay right there, mainly because of the other terrible "as-designed" logic that floats all DST files to the top of the recent files list.
