model tab in fixed (locked?) postion

Had this idea:

The MODEL TAB  should be fixed (or locked) in position at all times so that it does not scroll to left and remains in fixed position.  Then, when switching between a model and a layout tab, the tabs can be effectively placed side by side for quicker clicking.

also it would be nice if layout tabs can be color coded ( like MS Excel )

thanks.

Hi ET,

The appropriate place to let Autodesk know your wishes is here: http://www.augi.com/communities/ACAD-Community/autocad-wishlist/

Unfortunately the Ideastations are for specific products. But you can see if there is an appropriate one : http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/Ideas-Page

Sorry, I don't participate on AUGI's site either. Plus, I am at a loss for what your first wish would look like.

Can you please pass on the idea?  (Assuming you think it a worthy idea).

I like the idea of the tabs veing able to be locked as well as the ability to apply custom colors to the tab (as in excel)
