Messed up my pallets

ACA 2012

By trying to load a 3rd party program, I've messed up my pallets (stock & custom)

First I lost them, copied them back to the proper folder from back up hard disk.

They now show up, but when I try to access them I get this message

" ... the tool is not properly registered check installation"

Tried an ACA repair install - no help

also tried a windows 7 system restore but no help there either
