Mass group disappears

I'm using ACA 2014 and need to use the mass group command extensively.

I can attach several mass elements successfully but continuing to attach will cause the mass group to disappear.

This is not restricted to one dwg file. It is a consistant problem.

I have SP1 loaded.

I have had my CAD machine checked for defects by the company who built it and it comes back as no defect so I'm concluding it is a software issue.

The same problem was evident is ACA2010.

I would be grateful if someone could shed some light on this. I've attached a dwg file that exhibits the error.

I can add all the elements except the 2 inside the 'pool/garage'. Trying to add either one you get a disappear.

I wonder if there is overlap and it's having a hard time resolving?

I tried to merge some items together before joining the MEG but to not avail.

Thanks very much for taking a look and replying.

Would be great if Autodesk could review this and advise if there are limits to the geometry that should be added to mass groups or if this is related to the boolean problems that SP1 is designed to overcome.
