Lost wall command

I seem to have lost my "AecWallAdd command. I clicked on Design menu Add wall and go straight back to the command prompt. The same results also if I typed the command in. Is there any reason for this? I know that my old computer(32bit) didn't have this problem. new computer is a 64bit. not sure if it matters but is the only difference. Any help would be appreciated

If this problem only affects the WallAdd command,
then disregard the following suggestion.  However, if you experience a
similar problem with the DoorAdd and WindowAdd command (actually any AEC Add
command), you might be encountering a

face=Verdana size=2>known issue in which add commands cease to function after
the Properties Palette has been anchored and closed.  To confirm if this is
the case, make sure the Properties Palette is visible on-screen and then try
your commands.  If they work, then it sounds like you've encountered this
problem.  There isn't a fix or work-around for this problem but you can
avoid it by not anchoring and closing the Properties Palette.

Well, thanks for pointing out the land mine, at least. Hopefully I will
remember this post when one of my users has this problem.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem?  I am experiencing the same problem. Reinstalling and repairing doesn't resolve the issue.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem...?

I have the same problem on my desktop machine.

Capture.JPG

The name of the command comes up but nothing happens.

It just goes back to hte command line.

It used to work when I installed the software about 1 month ago and has now stopped for no apparent reason.

Have tried the repair command to no avail.

Thanks

Giles
