Layer Color change annoyance

Not a big deal, but a little annoying.... I am using Windows 7, 64 bit with ACA 2009.  My normal layer color settings have "0" and "defpoints" set to color 93.  After wokring on files for a few minutes, the color of these 2 layers reverts back to to white wihtout any routine being run that affects layer color.  Anyone know why?

You say you're not running any routines, etc. Is it safe to assume you're also not using Layer States either? I find these will sometimes change layer colors. Even if I hadn't changed the color since saving the layer state. Is why I no longer use them. Sigh.

Layer 0 and defpoints certainly are "system" layers...maybe it's related to a built in "feature" that will restore original colors? Sorry I can't be of much help.

Thanks Sara! I am using layer states, and frequently. Although I haven't notcied the color changed related to my use of the layer states, I will keep an eye out to see if that is the "problem".

Did you ever find out what was causing this issue?  My coworker and I are both noticing the same.  We don't use Layer States, though.

Nope, sorry, never found a reason for this behavior.

Oh, I should mention that we're both on 2012 and seeing the same issue, but we don't think it was always there in 2012.  It may have happened after applying the latest service pack.
