Inserting a door doesn't cut into the wall anymore

Just out of the blue, inserting a door into a wall, any type of wall, the door gets inserted but the wall doesn't cut an opening. The wall still shows up going thru the opening of the wall. 'I've have tried display setting from Low Detail to Presentation with the same results. Anyone with some ideas on what's going on.

Thanks

What Display Configuration is set current, and does the cut plane cut through the doors?

Hi,

Can you attach a sample file with just one wall and door from the same file.if the actual file is not heavy, you can attach it directly. This will make it easy to solve the issue.

I believe the sills are turn on. The cut plane is set to 0 and the doors don't cut thru and display setting. Here is the example file that you requested. Please let me know what you find out.

Yes.very True.i had a look. The door height is small , so that it is below you global cut plane. The global cut plane is the one which you can find in your drawing status bar.You can increase the door height, or adjust the global cut plane height so that the door is cut.
Also, to add :

1. You can have a global cut plane in your project.
2. You can have a forced cutplane for the wall, where it will override the global cutplane
3. In the door style display configuration, you have the option to make the door respect the cutplane of the wall or respect the global cutplane.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Tharakesh

very simple

The wall phase is different with the door phase

check how to change the phasing on youtube
