imprecise osnaps

Hei every one!

I had some problems with Osnaps that thery are imprecise!

When draw lines in 2d and zoom in to draw things are more detale, then the osnaps show double, and even worse if I import a block and the block places in a deferent place than the osnap shows.

Dose any one knows what is the problem?

Thanks!

Hi,

This looks like most probably a graphics adapter driver issue.

Check first if you have the latest drvier installed for your graphics adapter. if you already have the latest driver installed or if installing the latest driver does not solve the issue, try disabling Hardware accelleration to see if this makes any difference:

To disable HW accelleration:

1. Enter command "3DCONFIG"

2. Click on the "Manual Tune" button.

3. Under Hardware Settings, disable the "Enable hardware acceleration" checkbox

4. Click OK to close all open dialog boxes

Make sure you also have the latest service pack installed for AutoCAD Architecture.

If none of the above helps, let us know which version of Architecture (release, SP) you are using and we'll try to help you further.

Hi yanweiwen,

Thank you for posting more information about your machine and the software version you are using.

Do you know if you have the latest Service Packs installed for ACA 2012?

Here is the link, just in case:

You might also want to review these performance optimization suggestions:

Finally, I noticed that your graphics card may not be running the supported driver version. (Please keep in mind, this is not always the latest driver available through NVIDIA, so you may need to roll your driver back. Here is the link to the supported driver version for your graphics card:

Autodesk Certified Hardware: NVIDIA Quadro K2000

Please let us know if this solves the issue you're experiencing, or if you have additional questions.
