How to show the 2nd floor?

Over the years, I've run into the following problem: on a 1 & 1/2 story
house (the roof plate is at the top of the 1st floor wall), how the heck do
you show end walls that have been projected from the first floor to the
roof?

Any bright ideas?

You are using PN or at least X-ref's?

Easiest way is to copy and paste the roof into your other drawing, project
wall and delete.
If you haven;t found it, the Edit pulldown has a 'Paste to original
coordinates' option which works a treat.

I've now developed a system of a one file approach for 2 storey residential.
Makes things a lot easier though I am still working out some details.

I am having a similar problem. Using ADA 2008. I'm giving myself a crash course and designing my own house to build. I've sucsessfully designed the first floor and added a Dutch Gambrel roof. I'm stuck at extending the outer walls up to the roof and drawing my layout for the second floor. (Everything goes to the first floor) Still trying to decipher Project Navigator and Xrefs....

Any help is greatly appreciated.
