How to insert -in a text object- a calculated field from an external database

First of all, I apologize for my bad English but I'll do my best to explain my problem and find out if there is a solution to solve it.

It was follows:

In order to insert a calculated field in a text object, I have to use a Microsoft Access 2010 accdb type database.

I try it using the command "Insert Filer" and the Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB provider but it's  accdb files seem to be incompatible to Autodesk Architecture.

Any ideas to solve the problem?
