Gable wall line shows above intersection in plan.

Has anyone come across a way to keep gable walls from adding lines (on the above cut plane component layer) in a plan view?
I need to have the layer on so as to maintain the line above openings. I've inculded a bmp showing the situation.
Thanks

Turn off the "Above cut plane" in the display override for this wall

The problem with overriding is that you lose the wall lines above the windows as well.
And in a typical residential project this situation will occur multiple times in both interior and exterior walls.

you could workaround this applying a display override in the sill of the
window to represent the dashed lines.

Yeah, but it get's messy and time consuming editing all the walls/windows/doors/etc. effected.
I guess there isn't an easy fix / trick to clean this up.
