Extending to AEC walls with 2d Lines

Does any one know if there is a command for extending 2d lines to the
outside face of an AEC wall style? rather then to the center?

Liinework will EXTEND (using the AutoCAD EXTEND command) to the wall's justification line (which could also be at the wall centerline, if not at the wall baseline, left side or right side).

You can use the Extend option of the AEC Modify Tools to accomplish what you want. Select your linework, right click, choose AEC Modify Tools > Extend from the context menu, position your cursor over the component edge to use at the extend position and left click and, finally, left click near the endpoint to be extended of one item of linework.

Here's what I do. Our walls have the baseline on one side not the centerline (for lthis very reason) so this method works pretty well, it wouldn't work so well with a 'centerline' wall. Anyway, extend the line using AutoCAD's extend command, if it goes to the wrong side then click it, grab the grip and drag it back to where it's supposed to be. If 'intersection' is set as a running object snap then this becomes a click-drag-click solution. A fairly quick fix for a problem that we shouldn't have to deal with in the first place.

At the price we're paying, I'm not interested in making it easy on the programmers, just more efficient for me.

For those of you who like pictures to go along with directions, you may want to take a look at this blog article, where I covered the above technique, so I would not forget it:
