Errors and Crash on opening

I should have known better...

I did a few things to make the performance better.  (i.e. set STARTUP to 2).  Performance was wonderful.  THen I closed out and re-opened the program.  Now I get the following unhandled Access errors:

-aecguibase...

-arxcommand...

-aecprojectbase.db...

I try to open a drawing and it states "Errors found" the Fatal Error.

I tried a repair, but it didn't help.

Managed to get AutoCAD to open, but when I try to open from a 3rd party program, it states "Need to Specify AutoCAD Registry Cookie."  Where do I find this?

System Restore seems to have done the trick.
