.dwg to .pdf = Fatal error

To be more precise:

fatal error unhandled access violation writing 0x0024 Exception at 7776e4b4h

I've set up a drop down menu with various page setups coming from another file (-psetupin).

If I initiate a page setup for our Plotter or Printer, everything works fine. If I initiate a page setup for the 'dwg to pdf.pc3', I get the error listed above. I don't understand why, it worked fine not too long ago. Also, if I manually create a page setup with the same 'dwg to pdf.pc3' it works fine...

Anyone has an idea as to why this happens?

Cheers

More developments: I think I've found the problem.

I think my 'dwg to pdf.pc3 might have been corrupted. I replaced it with the ootb 'dwg to pdf.pc3' and it seems to work now. I had created Custom Paper Sizes in the old 'dwg to pdf.pc3' and I believe that might have done it.

Now the only problem left is to figure out how to get the paper sizes we want to use.

In this case I have uploaded/attached a copy of our stock “DWGtoPDF” driver for use and review.  Additionally, you mentioned that you were looking to included additional paper sizes to this driver.  To add additional sizes you will need to create custom paper sizes for your none standard sizes for this plot driver.

Thanks for checking up

It's been working on and off for a while, but I've put that issue aside for now in order to fix other things.

I'll take a little more time to try and figure out what's causing the problems.

As soon I figure it out, I'll  let you know.

Cheers

I would recommend testing the following options/steps to compare and see if they help overcome the FE when plotting PDF.

Test:

-Test plotting to DWF

-New layout and then print

-New file and then print

-File Clean Up and then print

I've had the same problems. It seems it has something to do with drawings I made in older Acad versions. When I open a drawing made with Acad 2012 in Acad 2013 I receive a FE. For me it had nothing to do with a corrupted PC3 file. The cleaning of the file as described did not help, untill I inserted the old drawing in a new drawing and printed from there. (I had to redraw the viewports)

I did not receive any FE when I created a drawing from scatch in Acad 2013 with the existing dwt file I always use.

Our office is having the same or a similar problem. Recently updated from 2012 to 2017 CAD. When we plot DWGtoPDF we get the message FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Writing 0x0024 Exception at 7722e4e4h. When we select "Adobe PDF" as the plotter it works.

Any solutions?
