Drawing opens with AutoCAD Architecture 2014 but not AutoCAD Architecture 2015

I find that some of my archive drawings will not open with AutoCAD 2015.

The attached file opens with the 2014 version but not the 2015 version.

Would someone please confirm that this drawing will NOT open in AutoCAD Architecture 2015.

Thanks.

Define "will not open" in detail please?
And which DWG file is the problem? You included two plus a lot of other files but perhaps you are not testing both separately?

*Post-Tender....dwg file: missing SHX fonts but otherwise fine.
*Site Plan.........dwg file: RECOVER found 14 errors and missing shx font but otherwise opened fine.

Hi pendean,

The Post-Tender.. dwg is the issue.

All the other files are images and/or Xrefs which are part of the Post-Tender drawing.

I included all files to provide a complete package.

When I try to open the Post-Tender drawing it stalls at 99%.

I left it overnight and when I looked again this morning it was still at 99% and not open.

I am wondering if there is an add-in which I have installed which may be creating the issue.

As mentioned, it opens fine in 2014 version.

Re: the missing shx font and the 14 errors.

I do have the shx font installed on my computer and I deleted various LOGO images etc prior to emailing which may be the reason for the errors.

I opened both again in the 2014 version and there are no fonts missing or errors.

Did you by chance "migrate" as part of the 2015 installation or startup? it might be worth a 'reset'.
Is your ACA2015 fully patched and updated? Couldn't hurt.

Hi Dean.

No migration was done. It was a clean install.

Yes. I am fully patched and updated.

Thanks for the suggestion about doing a reset though. That may be my best bet.

Hi Dean,

FYI,

I installed SP2 which was available this morning and my issue has gone away.

Whatever it was... the SP2 fixed it so no reset was required.

Thank you for your comments and help.

It was appreciated.
