Dragging views onto sheets

Am getting persistant "this element cannot be placed because it contains no geometry" dragging one view onto sheet. The view opens OK and references the construct. Have tried -
- repathing project
- reconstruct new construct pasting in original objects, delete original and set new file name
- checking props in view so that correct file ref'd
- doing a new view with new construct ref'd
And still get repeated error.

Is this a bug? Is the sheet the cause

Have you tried saving the view file just before you drag it over?
