Default Viewport Scale placeholder

I hope somebody can help. I have created our own title marks, etc for our company - similar to the standard but using our company standards. I have renamed the blocks with our company header (V1). When the title\section marks are placed on sheets, the viewportscale placeholder incorrectly brings u the scale. It has additional 0', sometimes a g::      Al sorts of wierd stuff.

The only way to fix it is to manually open the field, select a different sheet, go back and selct the previous sheet, change to format to 1:xxx and click OK. REAL frustrating when you have to do it everytime. Is there a sheet\or project wide setting to control this ??? I have attached of title mark sheets for reference.

Please try this,

If it was not the one you were looking for, please upload a screencast video to clarify the issue.

Thank you Craig, but Screencast says it's not a valid link.

Please check if the sharing option in Screencase set to everyone can see it and could you share the link one more time?

I believe the Screencast to which Craig was trying to link is this one:

I took a look at the blocks and followed the steps in screencast, but I couldn't reproduce the issue in my ACA.

I wonder if your profile / settings might have corrupted.

Could you reset settings to default and see if it works ?

http://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-reset-AutoCAD-to-d...

Using this tool, you can back up your settings in zip file.

You can also restore the customization using "Import AutoCAD xxxx settings".

Hope it helps.

Hi Craig,

I was able to reproduce your issue, and correct on my side.
Aparently the field expression on your title mark attribute definition was more complex than it should be.
I've reseted it to your formating, and after that it worked.

Can you try to do it on your end and let us know if it works? You can see how I did it in this video.
https://screencast.autodesk.com/main/details/cba6fe69-714f-461b-b608-d060e25e8c17

note:
-I've added a donut to the block only to have a visual check that this new definition was used upon insertion
-You might have to purge view drawings that already have this block definition before inserting it again

Hi Craig,

Thanks for the feedback.
I did it on the file that the pallete icon was pointing to. You can see it on second 6 of the video.
In my case was "C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ACA 2015\enu\Styles\Metric\Callouts (Metric) - V1.dwg"
