CUI files

Our in-house IT person is attempting to solve some issues with the CUI files. Apparently the ADTDesign.cui, ADTDocument.cui, ADTDraw.cui, etc…. files are missing from AutoCad Architecture 2008. They can be found in AutoCad 2007 but not in 2008. Where are they? References to them (and their location) need to be in our company's main CUI file so the Window/Pulldown menus will show when needed.

Go to your 'Window' menu and look for 'Pulldowns' and select the ones you
are missing.
(They are trying to ween you off them!)

That only creates error messages (such as: Command: ; error: no function definition: TOGGLEDOCUMENTMENU). Which would occur if those CUI files are no where to be found, which is the problem we initially stated. Is there a service pack that would fix this? (We had issues with Express Tools and accessing the PGP files which were corrected in a similar way.)

For a product that's two versions old? Don't think so. This was never a
reported problem before.

I think you should try the repair option. Although that usually just fixes
registry problems. I've never seen it actually replace files. I've heavily
edited the main ACA.cui file (something I shouldn't do, but do anyway), and
subsequent repairs never replaced the file. But, it could re-install files
if they are missing altogether if it somehow goes through a list of files an
installation *should* have. But that's just a guess.

The other possible option is to go through the installation DVD and search
for the files and directly copy it from the disk to the proper support
folder location.

You must have altered your installation.
They were there for me in 2008!
So were express tools and the pgp file.
