Copy/Paste Herman MIller workstation causes x's on copied objects

I opened a Herman Miller typical workstation in a new document window, and when I copy the 3D workstation (using the clipboard) and paste it into my floorplan, the copied workstation has x's at every corner of every object (in model AND paper space). Then if I Zoom All and regen...the x's become HUGE.  I'm using AutoCAD Arch 2011.  Anyone know why this is happening, and how it can be remedied?  I would appreciate any help...thanks!

Same as in all AutoCAD/ACA versions before 2011. PDMODE variable, set it to zero: those are POINT objects in the block definitions to aid the HM folks assemble parts into complete furniture assemblies. Very common in the cad furniture industry (and most block creators needing assemblies like that).

I typed DDPTYPE in the command line and changed the point style, and that got rid of the x's. Thanks for your help!
