Changing Scale in Model Space Causes Crash

I have one drawing that is causing me all sorts of problems.

It has no x-refs.

I have purged the drawing.

I have audited the drawing.

I have reset the scales.

I still cannot change it out of it's current scale without crashing the program.

What else can I do to change the scale?
