Our great and wonderful programers have removed the BLIPMODE command from the new Autocad 2012.
So if you happen to run a lisp program that uses it you are now stuck with it on and have no way to turn it off.
Why do they continue to try to improve what does not need to be improved?

1. Edit your lisp and turn it off.
2. Do a little research first if the LISP is "sacred" and see if other options work:

I used your link in suggestion number 2 link and on page 9 of 9 the suggestion was to use a " . " before the obsolete command.
I have a button that I created for turning off the BLIPMODE so I modified it to .BLIPMODE and it works fine.
Thanks for your help,
Keith
The link is a very useful set of recommendations for sure: glad it worked for your needs.
