autocad System

My Auto cad Architecture is freezing if I perform the following commands: closing properties window, editing text, purge, creating new layer, opening file, editing properties, customizing user interface.

I have enough memory, but maybe the graphic card is not compatible.
Does anyone can inform a link were I can have a list of the system required for Autocad?

Thank you for any help.

Danigirl,

To quote the wise old doctor from "Hee Haw".
If it freezes when doing that, then "don't do that",

Seriously, you have some real
problems.  Some things to think about...  Have you done a Repair
on the installation?  Have you re-installed the software?  What
operating system are you running?  Are you running the latest operating
system service packs?  Have you installed the latest ACA service
pack?  Have you tried adjusting hardware acceleration in Options?  Do
you have the latest video drivers installed?  Can you try a different video
card?  The video card does make a tremendous difference and it sounds like
it may be more of a video issue for you.

I know that is not an explicit answer.
Sorry.

Doug
