AutoCAD cannot continue error for 2012

One of the users in my office is getting the "AutoCAD cannot continue" error in AutoCAD Architecture 2012.  I've read a few of the discussions concerning this issue in earlier versions, but couldn't comprehend what the solution was.  Can someone help me with this?  Any input would be appreciated.

What's the user doing when it happens?

I know I can cause that error when I am using the "isolate layers" function and call a certain old function from a past version of aca. Maybe there's a common cause for the user than can be isolated and fixed (or at least worked-around)?

Thanks for the response.  I'll have to figure out what command is being executed, since the user just made the switch from 2006LT a couple weeks ago.  I'll keep you posted.
