Autocad architecture 2012 Language pack english

Hey everyone,

Just arrived at a new workstation where my predecessor installed a french Autocad Architecture 2012.

Where can find a english languagepack for this?

I've tried the installation cd but couldn't find it.

And the website only shows 2013 & 2014.

Hi Manu,

in 2013 the language packs for AutoCAD Architecture was a new functionality. So for 2012/2011 there are no language packs available. You would need to install directly the language you would like to use.

thank you for your reply.

So hence there is no other language selectable on the installation window opened by the installation cd; I am doomed to continue drawing in an exotic language?

Somebody shoot me now...

Do you know what's up with the subscription center being down?

Surely they can muster an english version.

Hi Manu,

The software was ordered in a special language, I assume it was French in your case. So you got a French DVD.
We know, that customers would like to use several languages parallel on their system. So we changed this with 2013 and language packs for AutoCAD Architecture had been born.
But if you had been working with the English release in the past, there is might already also an English DVD in your office. As already mentioned, I would suggest asking your folks why there is a French DVD and where the English one has gone.
I'm not aware of issues with subscription center. Maybe it's blocked by our IT or by firewall settings.

Hello Humair Raza,

as our dearest Barbara mentioned you cannot "change" the language of any autocad prior to 2013.

So we're out of luck with our 2012.

If you have a subscription they can send you another version in the language you prefer to install newly onto your computer.

If you've bought a one-off then there is not much you can do but upgrade to 2014 and make sure you get the right language like Dean Saadallah said.
