one of my end-user has a corrupt CAD 2012. I tried to uninstall it but it failed. I manually went into program files and deleted every autocad architecture 2012 folder. I also deleted the autocad architecture 2012 folder in program data. I cleaned out the %temp% folder. I also followed these steps below,
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Products
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall
I usually search for the product name string in these locations and remove any keys from the GUID level. Backup the registry first, of course, prior to any editing.
anyone have any suggestions? this is very frustrating.
I have attached a screenshot when trying to install from the CD. Thanks
