auto desk architecture[copy & paste tool]

hi there.....have been using autocad architecture for a while now, and come up with a problem that i havent encounted yes and i cannot resolve alone.

with the copy and past tool i use alot and so dose everyone else.......but when i try to paste off the clipboard it now asks me to input imgae file name to attatch, it has never asked me this befor and is really slowing my work up? im not sure if there is an option in the user face that i am missing. but it just seems like something has changed and i cannot resolve it or work around it.....

so please advise

Are you copying and pasting between autocad drawings?

How are you using the copy and paste tool?  select an object, rightclick and selecting "copy"?

Or windows ctr C and crt V ?
