Architecture 2009 and Windows 8.1 update

After updating to WIndows 8.1, my AutoCAD 2009 won't launch and I get an error message that says: "Ad 32lw has stopped working" the submessage states that Windows is looking for a solution to the problem. ANy ideas?? Thank you!!

Since AutoCAD 2009 isn't supported for Win8.1 this isn't suprising. Look into Longbow Software, or something similar, to install old software on a new OS.
