AEC "Smart" Dimensions Issue

I have a floor plan where the smart dimensions work most of the time. In one particular situation the dimensions "filter" out certain walls, but not others. This one wall style will get picked up by the dimensions when the wall is oriented horizontal on the screen, but when it is vertical it gets "filtered". I have copied the entire drawing into a new dwg, just to check if it was the drawing to no avail. Any thoughts? Also, I've attached a screen shot.

In this case the issue is typically file based (as you have observed) and is related to miscommunication and/or corruption that has built within the file.  To remove and correct this please apply all 11 steps in the link below to clean it up and then test overall operation of the file and features.  Before doing this please make a copy of this file for the testing of these steps to compare overall operability and the before and after results.  Please keep us posted in the community and let us know how this worked out.
