Now I am a little bit confused... When I write ACA, see what I got:

Pedro, add ADT to the mix and it changes the results drastically when you
then add ACA and ADT together.
Boy do you go searching for bad news?

Hi Nathan

No, I don't search for bad news. They come to me everyday, specially form
Autodesk and Autodesk dealers, telling me that ADT has no future. I guess
that we must admit that this is battle is lost. I did invest a lot in
AutoArchitect S8, ADT, VIZ and VIZ Render. Three are gone. ADT will follow
them soon.

if you want to feel better, search for AutoCAD and Revit... (revit is
just a teeeny tiny line at the bottom) :smileywink:

Well it will go but not soon. There is still a lot of ADT/ACA around and
it's not gong to disappear quickly.

Sooooooooo tired and worn out that it is pitiful to continue further lame discussion on this topic. AutoCAD, ACA and Revit are going nowhere anytime soon. If one is so inclined to feel the production line they are on is over then move to another brand but why keep beating yourself and others day after day, week after week on something you have no control over.

You have control over your choice. Choose one and go about your business. I knew an old farmer back in the days that saw his crops come and go with the seasons and he told me "If you don't have something good to say then say nothing at all" :smileyhappy:

Everybody here knows the challanges and limitations of both platforms (ACA & Revit) and I like to think those same people know the difference between actual solutions for the end user and "smoke and mirror" shows just to make a sale.

Jay

Hi Jay

You are right and I understand your point of view. The question is: I have
no choice! I tried to learn Revit but I gave up because it's very complex,
has many limitations and that thing doesn't make any sense to me. Meanwhile,
I've decided to upgrade from to ACA 2008 to 2009, but it crashes all the
time. I am on "subscription", but the Support Team doesn't find solution to
my problems. I'm afraid I have to go back to AutoCAD because all the other
Autodesk products have en ephemeral life.
