Adjusting a wall under a stair

Hi,

I'm just trying to put a wall under a stair and it seems like I can not succeed. Already tried with interference, body modifiers and trimming. Maybe I done it wrong, I seriously don't know and I'll appreciate any help.

Draw the stair. Draw the wall where you want it under the stair. Then right-click on the wall and select Roof/Floor Line, and at the flyout select Modify Roof Line, at the command prompt, type 'A' for Auto project, then select the stiar and hit enter. The top of the wall should clean up conforming to the stair.
