3d pipe appears to be 2d line

Please see the attached file.

Whenever I xref this file or copy this pipe and paste it to the other, the pipe appears to be a single line, what's the reason of it?  I have all of the object enablers loaded.  This is the only file that keeps acting like this, any idea?  This is from the subs, so it's not generated from Autodesk softwares. it's a converted DWG file.

The sample drawing comes from AutoCAD MEP.  What template are you using in AutoCAD Architecture?  Some templates do not have the AEC displays and the pipe will display as a single line.  Please attach a copy of your file and we can take a look at it.

You provided an AutoCAD MEP file.  The pipe appears as 3D in this file.  You mentioned you were xreffing this MEP file into one of your own?  That's where it appears as 2D, if we understand you.  It's your file that we need, not the sbu-contractor's MEP file.

I see.  I guess once I Xref it to AutoCAD archtiecture, all of the AutoCAD MEP files will come in as single lines.

Since I don't have AutoCAD MEP, what's the alternative solution?

That's most of what we needed to know from your file, what type of template you are using and it sounds like it's an AutoCAD Architecture template.  You do need the MEP displays, but do not need them in the Architecture template.  Select the MEP xref inside your file.  Right-click and select "Edit Object Display."  A dialog box pops up.  At the top, there is a checkbox for "Override display in host drawing" (your drawing).  Enable that checkbox, and then below that is the list of displays from the MEP xref file.  Select on "MEP Design."  Ok out.  Then type in OBJRELUPDATE enter enter.  That regenerates the MEP model.  The pipes should now appear 3D 2-line.or 1-line if the diameter is small.
