New to autocad360

Hi!

I would like to use autocad 360 on iPad Pro for lighting design scheme. Is this the right tool? Can we use/import any lighting fixtures on the drawings?

thanks for any help you can give me.

Define "lighting design" please: do you just want to drop symbols into a floor plan, or do a lot more?

AutoCAD360 is a general use cad tool designed to be an "adjacent seat" for users that have the desktop AutoCAD software. It also requires your file to contain all the light fixture blocks you will need. Two things I suspect you might have readily available.

Thanks. I use DIALux which only runs on Microsoft computer. I was hoping to be able to do lighting scheme with Autocad 360 on iPad pro, and lightning calculations as well. I suspect this might not be the case as I don't have autocad software. Can I import lighting fixtures from the Internet on Autocad drawings and show the lighting output?

Thanks

AutoCAD360 is not a lighting design app: it;'s just a drafting app.
